Hellen Seku, Commissioner of the National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps and Chief Program Coordinator for the Parish Development Model (PDM), has today led thousands of people to welcome President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at Gombe Secondary School in Butambala District during a leaders’ meeting on the PDM tour.
Dressed in a T-shirt boldly printed with the words, “Keep calm — the truth is, Museveni is not going anywhere,” Seku sent a clear and unapologetic message of loyalty and confidence in the President’s continued leadership as the President of Uganda.

As Chief Program Coordinator for the Parish Development Model Seku played a key role in organizing and guiding the engagement as the government’s commitment to making the PDM work directly at the grassroots level. She interacted with local leaders, community members, and youth, emphasizing the model’s goal of lifting households out of subsistence farming into the money economy.
The Patriotism Commissioner has of recent not only been involved in patriotic education but also in national development strategy. She is one of the most visible faces in the rollout of the Parish Development Model, blending civic responsibility with real economic transformation efforts.
