The preparations for the Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference that is scheduled for 3rd to 6th January 2024 are in high gear.
Sources say that as at 27 December 2023, a total of 43 delegations had confirmed attendance of the said Conference to be held in Kampala with the first arrival expected on Sunday, 31 December 2023.
Parliament assured the country of they safety of Delegates that will attend the Conference “at the moment there is no suspected or confirmed case of anthrax in Kampala or the Central Region, where CSPOC 2024 will be held, the threat of anthrax in the country is very low and cannot cause any worry to delegates” Parliament tweeted on Thursday!
