This medical procedure involves the mechanical extraction of waste products and surplus fluids from the bloodstream, a function typically performed by healthy kidneys.
Throughout her challenging health journey, numerous members of the Ugandan artistic community rallied around the “Ogumanga” singer, offering both financial assistance and unwavering moral support. Earlier this year, a group of her close friends pooled their resources to construct a new residence in Bujjuuko for Ms. Lagu and her children, showcasing the depth of their care and solidarity.
Evelyn Nakabira Lagu was born on June 1, 1982, in what is now the Kalungu district, previously part of Masaka.
