Speaker Among applauds staff at Mulago Hospital

The Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among has applauded the staff at Mulago Hospital for the excellent services they are offering to Ugandans. Besides checking on the delivery of services at the Hospital, Among had gone to check on the Dakabela MP Cosmos Elotu who got an accident in a road crush and has since been admitted at Mulago Hospital.  Speaker Among said she was happy with the services at the hospital. “i am  impressed by the quality services, dedication and commitment of staff at Mulago National Referral Hospital as I checked on our ailing colleague, Dakabela County MP Cosmos Elotu this afternoon”.  the Speaker tweeted.

Speaker Among monitoring Mulago Hospital

Among emphasized the significance of Mulago Hospital  to the country a reason the staff have to be committed, “The facility is the heart beat of the national health care system, making staff commitment and quality service very crucial. I commend the hospital Director, Dr. Rosemary Byanyima, and the team for their unwavering commitment, and Ministry of Health for the efforts to providing healthcare” Among tweeted. She also pledged Parliament’s support to ensuring that the challenges they currently face are addressed.

Speaker Among has been passionate about health care in Uganda and has been promoting better funding for the sector.
