FIFA Certifies Hamz Stadium’s Turf System

In a significant milestone for Ugandan football, the world governing body FIFA has certified the turf system installed at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo. The certification was confirmed in a certificate signed by the FIFA President, now in possession of the stadium’s management.

Rogers Mulindwa, Chairman of the Management Committee, expressed gratitude to Haj Dr. Hamis Kuggundu, CEO of Ham Enterprises (U) Ltd, and all stakeholders who contributed to this achievement. “We return glory to the living God,” Mulindwa stated.

This prestigious recognition ensures that Hamz Stadium’s turf system meets the highest international standards for safety, quality, and performance. The certification opens doors for Uganda to host international football matches and tournaments, demonstrating the country’s commitment to developing world-class infrastructure.

Located in Nakivubo, Kampala, Hamz Stadium is a state-of-the-art sports facility owned by Ham Enterprises (U) Ltd. The stadium has undergone significant upgrades, culminating in FIFA’s certification.
