Five Suspects further Remanded Over Ndiga Clan Leader Murder

Five people accused of murdering Eng Daniel Bbosa, the head of the Ndiga clan appearing before Court.

The  Mwanga II Magistrate’s court has further  remanded five people accused of murdering Eng Daniel Bbosa, the head of the Ndiga clan.

The accused are:

Noah Lujja, a resident of Kabanga village, Mpigi town council in Mpigi, Harriet Nakiguli, a resident of Nkere Corner Zone, Kawempe Division in Kampala district, Joseph Nakabale, a carpenter residing in Gala, Mpigi town council, Ezra Mayanja, a carpenter residing in Kiganda Zone, Kawempe and Milly Naluwenda, secretary to the Kisekwa cultural court of Buganda, residing in Kitunzi Zone 7, Rubaga Division, Kampala district.

 

The accused persons today appeared before the Senior Principal Grade  One Magistrate Adams Byarugaba to be informed on the progress of investigations into the charges in the case against them.

The Prosecution alleges that the said group of five and others still at large on February 25th 2024 at Kikandwa Lungujja Rubaga Division in Kampala District with malice aforethought unlawfully caused the death of Engineer Kakeedo Daniel Bbosa.

However State Attorney Caroline Mpumwire, informed the court that investigations were incomplete and asked for an adjournment.

As a result, the Magistrate has further remanded the accused persons until  May 30th  2024.

Immediately after the gruesome murder of Bossa , residents pursued  the two assailants who were riding  on a motor-cycle until they caught up with them and killed one on the scene of crime.

The surviving suspect Lujja  sustained injuries although he was later  rescued by police and admitted to Mulago hospital to receive treatment as he  awaited formal charging before court .
