The President of Uganda Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has awarded a man who captured the killer of the Ndiga clan head killer. This happened today at State House on Kampala when the President awarded Mr. Abdul Katabazi with a Nalubaale Medal.

He also commended Katabazi for being brave. “you have done a heroic job. You have now become a bush war fighter like me” said Museveni. The President further pledged to award and support other boda boda men who participated in the capture of the assassins.

Lwomwa Eng Bosa was killed on Sunday last week when gunmen attacked and showed his vehicle with bullets near his home in Lubaga Division Kampala. A mob who were led by Katabazi ran after the assassins and captured one of them who was killed by the mob. In the last ten years there has been a spate of murders targeting top political leaders, religious clerics and security officers which has put the country’s security at risk which could have prompted the President to award this brave civilian.
