LOP, MPs denied access at the site of Lubowa Specialized Hospital

Right Honourable Joel Ssenyonyi, The Leader of Opposition in Parliament (LOP), together a couple of Opposition Members of Parliament (MPs) have this morning been denied access at the construction site of the Lubowa Specialist Hospital.

Parliament has in the past several years passed budgets amounting to billions towards this project but the MPs are disturbed by the slow pace and progress of works at the site.

A bitter Ssenyonyi had no kind words and said that he will do anything in his powers to halt further funding of the project until a clear work plan pertaining the project has been provided to Parliament.

Ssenyonyi and the Opposition MPs had visited the site to carry out an oversight of the construction.
